--- title: AdBlue in diesel tank in Kenilworth Coventry: local drainer. url: https://wrongfueldrain.com/adblue-in-diesel-tank/kenilworth-coventry/ focus: adblue in the diesel tank kenilworth coventry phone: 01295 380724 updated: 2026-10-01 --- # AdBlue in the diesel tank in Kenilworth Coventry, drained on the spot **Short answer** The single most useful thing you can do now is nothing — leave the engine off. Then call 01295 380724. A drainer who works Kenilworth Coventry drains adblue in the diesel tank on the spot, flushes through and refuels, typically in 1 to 3 hours, with a call-out from £89 confirmed up front. What matters most is whether the fuel has moved beyond the tank. AdBlue is a urea and water solution meant for the exhaust. In the fuel tank it crystallises and corrodes, so the tank and lines have to be drained and flushed. The drainer drains the tank, flushes the system through, refuels with enough clean fuel to reach a forecourt, then starts the engine and lets it settle. You do not need a garage and the vehicle does not move until it is ready. ## Before you agree a price: what to ask A drainer should be happy to answer all of these on the phone. If they will not give a price before travelling, ring someone else. - Will you dispose of the contaminated fuel, and can I have a note of it? - Do you bring clean fuel, and is it included? - Can you work on the forecourt, or does the car need to be moved? - Is the vehicle over 3.5 tonnes, and does that change the price? - Do you take card payment at the roadside? ## What to do right now - Leave the ignition alone — on many cars even unlocking it powers the fuel pump. - Push the car clear of the pump if needed, with someone steering and the engine off. - Call 01295 380724 and give the fuel, the amount and your exact location. - Ask for the whole price, not just the call-out, and agree it. - The drainer drains the tank into a sealed container and flushes the lines. - Fresh fuel goes in, the engine is started and the waste fuel leaves with the drainer. Across recent reviews, the themes customers raise most often are staff who stay polite, professional and reassuring during what is a stressful situation, and how quickly a technician arrives and gets the vehicle back on the road in Kenilworth Coventry. The most common criticism is price. Some customers have felt the cost of an emergency drain was steep for a job that takes under two hours, and that is fair comment on an emergency call-out. It is why the misfuel call-out fee now starts at just £89 and why the full figure is quoted on the phone before a technician sets off — so nothing about the cost is a surprise at the roadside. ## Common questions **What does it cost in Kenilworth Coventry?** The call-out starts at £89. The full price depends on the vehicle and how far the fuel got, and it is confirmed on 01295 380724 before anyone travels. **How long does a drain take in Kenilworth Coventry?** Usually 1 to 3 hours on site once the drainer arrives. Longer if the engine was started, because the filter and lines need flushing as well as the tank. **Can I pay by card?** Yes. Card payment is taken on site once the job is done. **What if I have already driven home?** Leave it on the drive with the engine off and call 01295 380724. The drainer can do the whole job at your house. **Is the drain messy?** No. The fuel is pumped into a sealed tank on the van, and a drip tray catches anything from the connection. The area is left as it was. **Do you cover all of Kenilworth Coventry?** Yes — forecourts, roadsides, homes and workplaces across Kenilworth Coventry and the surrounding area. ### Who you are dealing with Wrong Fuel Drain is a brand of [Fuel Fixer Ltd](https://www.fuelfixer.co.uk/) (company number 08520551), a company of Fuel Fixer International, the multinational group behind this website.
