We connect you to a drainer **Short answer** Keys out, then ring 01295 380724. For adblue in diesel in Castletroy Limerick we connect you to an independent local drainer who covers the area, so you only explain it once. AdBlue belongs in the blue-capped tank. In the diesel tank it attacks the fuel system and has to be drained out before the engine runs. Their price and arrival time are confirmed by them before they set off. In Ireland we do not run our own vans — we work with local fuel drainers and connect you to one covering Castletroy Limerick. Call 01295 380724 and we will pass you straight to a drainer in your area with the details of the vehicle and the fuels involved, so you are not repeating the story twice. Pricing and attendance times are set by the local operator, not by us, so ask them to confirm both before they travel. ## AdBlue in diesel in Castletroy Limerick in numbers Town | Castletroy Limerick | Area | Limerick | Job | AdBlue in diesel | Price | Set by the local drainer, agreed before travel | Time on site | 1–3 hours | Who attends | An independent local drainer | Phone | 01295 380724, 24 hours | ## When a drainer arrives in Castletroy Limerick Expect a van with a pump and a sealed waste tank. The drainer drains the tank, flushes the system through, refuels with enough clean fuel to reach a forecourt, then starts the engine and lets it settle. You do not need a garage and the vehicle does not move until it is ready. ## Five things to ask a drainer before they set off A drainer should be happy to answer all of these on the phone. If they will not give a price before travelling, ring someone else. - Will you dispose of the contaminated fuel, and can I have a note of it? - Is there an extra charge at night or at the weekend? - Is the vehicle over 3.5 tonnes, and does that change the price? - Do you take card payment at the roadside? - How long until you reach me in Castletroy Limerick? ## What to do right now - Keep the engine off and put the keys somewhere you will not absent-mindedly use them. - Move the car only by pushing, with help, and only if it is blocking a pump. - Phone 01295 380724 and describe what happened. - Confirm the quote — call-out from £89 — and the arrival window. - The drainer empties the tank into a sealed container and flushes through. - After a refuel and a test run, the waste fuel leaves with the drainer for licensed disposal. Across recent reviews, the themes customers raise most often are staff who stay polite, professional and reassuring during what is a stressful situation, and how quickly a technician arrives and gets the vehicle back on the road in Castletroy Limerick. The most common criticism is price. Some customers have felt the cost of an emergency drain was steep for a job that takes under two hours, and that is fair comment on an emergency call-out. It is why the misfuel call-out fee is set by the local drainer in Ireland and why the full figure is quoted on the phone before a technician sets off — so nothing about the cost is a surprise at the roadside. ## Common questions **Will the car need a service afterwards?** Not after a straight drain. If the engine ran on the wrong fuel, the drainer will tell you whether the filter should be changed. **Can I pay by card?** Yes. Card payment is taken on site once the job is done. **I only put a little in — do I still need a drain?** In most modern diesels, yes. Even a small amount of petrol reduces the lubrication the pump depends on. A drain is cheap compared with a pump. **How quickly can a drainer reach me in Castletroy Limerick?** Usually the same day and often within a couple of hours. The operator gives you an arrival window on 01295 380724 before you agree. **Does insurance cover adblue in diesel?** Many policies exclude misfuelling. Some breakdown cover and optional add-ons include it. Check your policy wording before assuming either way. **Do I need to stay with the car?** Ideally yes, so the drainer can confirm what happened and hand the keys back. If not, agree access on the phone. ### Who you are dealing with Wrong Fuel Drain is a brand of [Fuel Fixer Ltd](https://www.fuelfixer.co.uk/) (company number 08520551), a company of Fuel Fixer International, the multinational group behind this website.
