In Ireland we do not run our own drainers — we put you through to a local one covering Mungret Limerick, with your vehicle and fuel details already passed on. AdBlue belongs in the blue-capped tank. In the diesel tank it attacks the fuel system and has to be drained out before the engine runs. The local drainer sets and confirms the price before travelling. In Ireland we do not run our own vans — we work with local fuel drainers and connect you to one covering Mungret Limerick. Call 01295 380724 and we will pass you straight to a drainer in your area with the details of the vehicle and the fuels involved, so you are not repeating the story twice. Pricing and attendance times are set by the local operator, not by us, so ask them to confirm both before they travel. ## AdBlue in diesel in Mungret Limerick at a glance Town | Mungret Limerick | Area | Limerick | Job | AdBlue in diesel | Price | Set by the local drainer, agreed before travel | Time on site | 1–3 hours | Who attends | An independent local drainer | Phone | 01295 380724, 24 hours | ## When a drainer arrives in Mungret Limerick A good drainer asks three questions before touching anything: what fuel went in, how full the tank is, and whether the engine was started. The answers decide whether it is a straight drain or a drain plus a flush of the filter and pump. Either way it happens where the vehicle is parked. ## Questions worth asking before you book a drain in Mungret Limerick You are going to pay for the job, so it is worth two minutes on the phone first. These are the questions that separate a straight quote from a surprise at the roadside. - How much more if the engine has already been started? - How long until you reach me in Mungret Limerick? - Is the vehicle over 3.5 tonnes, and does that change the price? - Is there an extra charge at night or at the weekend? - Will you dispose of the contaminated fuel, and can I have a note of it? ## What to do right now - Keep the engine off and put the keys somewhere you will not absent-mindedly use them. - Move the car only by pushing, with help, and only if it is blocking a pump. - Phone 01295 380724 and describe what happened. - Confirm the quote — call-out from £89 — and the arrival window. - The drainer empties the tank into a sealed container and flushes through. - After a refuel and a test run, the waste fuel leaves with the drainer for licensed disposal. Across recent reviews, the themes customers raise most often are staff who stay polite, professional and reassuring during what is a stressful situation, and how quickly a technician arrives and gets the vehicle back on the road in Mungret Limerick. The most common criticism is price. Some customers have felt the cost of an emergency drain was steep for a job that takes under two hours, and that is fair comment on an emergency call-out. It is why the misfuel call-out fee is set by the local drainer in Ireland and why the full figure is quoted on the phone before a technician sets off — so nothing about the cost is a surprise at the roadside. ## Common questions **Does insurance cover adblue in diesel?** Many policies exclude misfuelling. Some breakdown cover and optional add-ons include it. Check your policy wording before assuming either way. **Can I pay by card?** Yes. Card payment is taken on site once the job is done. **Do I need to stay with the car?** Ideally yes, so the drainer can confirm what happened and hand the keys back. If not, agree access on the phone. **The engine is running rough — is that the wrong fuel?** If it started shortly after filling up, very likely. Pull over when it is safe, switch off and call 01295 380724. **What does it cost in Mungret Limerick?** The call-out starts at £89. The full price depends on the vehicle and how far the fuel got, and it is confirmed on 01295 380724 before anyone travels. **Can I drive to a garage with adblue in diesel?** No. Every mile pushes the fuel further through the pump and injectors. A drainer comes to you, so there is no reason to move the car under its own power. ### Who you are dealing with Wrong Fuel Drain is a brand of [Fuel Fixer Ltd](https://www.fuelfixer.co.uk/) (company number 08520551), a company of Fuel Fixer International, the multinational group behind this website.
