For adblue in the petrol tank in Blackrock Cork Cork we connect you to an independent local drainer who covers the area, so you only explain it once. AdBlue is mostly water with urea in it; in a petrol tank it corrodes the fuel system and needs a full drain and flush. Their price and arrival time are confirmed by them before they set off. [Call 01295 380724 — 24/7, nationwide](tel:+441295380724) ### How Ireland works Wrong Fuel Drain operates its own mobile technicians across the UK. In Ireland we do not run our own vans — we work with local fuel drainers and connect you to one covering Blackrock Cork Cork. Call 01295 380724 and we will pass you straight to a drainer in your area with the details of the vehicle and the fuels involved, so you are not repeating the story twice. Pricing and attendance times are set by the local operator, not by us, so ask them to confirm both before they travel. ## AdBlue in the petrol tank in Blackrock Cork Cork in numbers Town | Blackrock Cork Cork | Area | Cork | Job | AdBlue in the petrol tank | Price | Set by the local drainer, agreed before travel | Time on site | 1–3 hours | Who attends | An independent local drainer | Phone | 01295 380724, 24 hours | ## What the drainer does when they reach you in Blackrock Cork Cork The drainer parks up, checks the vehicle has not been started and makes the area safe with cones and a drip tray. The fuel is pumped out through the filler or the fuel line into a sealed tank on the van, the lines are flushed, a few litres of the right fuel go in, and the engine is started and run until it idles cleanly. The contaminated fuel leaves with them. ## Five things to ask a drainer before they set off A drainer should be happy to answer all of these on the phone. If they will not give a price before travelling, ring someone else. - What is the total, not just the call-out, if it is a straight drain? - Is the vehicle over 3.5 tonnes, and does that change the price? - Is there an extra charge at night or at the weekend? - Can you work on the forecourt, or does the car need to be moved? - How much more if the engine has already been started? ## What to do right now - Stop. Do not start the engine, even for a moment. - Note the fuel type, the amount you put in and whether the car was already low. - Ring 01295 380724 and give the location — a postcode or the filling station name is enough. - Get the full price and an arrival time before you agree. - A drainer attends, drains and flushes the fuel system where the car is parked. - Clean fuel goes in, the engine is run, and you drive to the next forecourt to fill up. [Call 01295 380724 now](tel:+441295380724) ## Where drainers work in Blackrock Cork Cork Forecourt staff in Blackrock Cork Cork see this every week and will usually let the vehicle sit in a bay until the drainer arrives. Across recent reviews, the themes customers raise most often are staff who stay polite, professional and reassuring during what is a stressful situation, and how quickly a technician arrives and gets the vehicle back on the road in Blackrock Cork Cork. The most common criticism is price. Some customers have felt the cost of an emergency drain was steep for a job that takes under two hours, and that is fair comment on an emergency call-out. It is why the misfuel call-out fee is set by the local drainer in Ireland and why the full figure is quoted on the phone before a technician sets off — so nothing about the cost is a surprise at the roadside. ## Common questions **Does insurance cover adblue in the petrol tank?** Many policies exclude misfuelling. Some breakdown cover and optional add-ons include it. Check your policy wording before assuming either way. **How long does a drain take in Blackrock Cork Cork?** Usually 1 to 3 hours on site once the drainer arrives. Longer if the engine was started, because the filter and lines need flushing as well as the tank. **What does it cost in Blackrock Cork Cork?** The call-out starts at £89. The full price depends on the vehicle and how far the fuel got, and it is confirmed on 01295 380724 before anyone travels. **Can I pay by card?** Yes. Card payment is taken on site once the job is done. **Do I need to stay with the car?** Ideally yes, so the drainer can confirm what happened and hand the keys back. If not, agree access on the phone. **Can you drain a van or a lorry?** Vans, yes, routinely. Vehicles over 3.5 tonnes are quoted separately because of the volume involved. ### Who you are dealing with Wrong Fuel Drain is a brand of [Fuel Fixer Ltd](https://www.fuelfixer.co.uk/) (company number 08520551), a company of Fuel Fixer International, the multinational group behind this website.
