--- title: AdBlue in petrol tank in Kilmallock: local drainer, Ireland url: https://wrongfueldrain.com/adblue-in-petrol-tank/kilmallock/ focus: adblue in the petrol tank kilmallock phone: 01295 380724 updated: 2026-10-06 --- # AdBlue in the petrol tank in Kilmallock: a local drainer **Short answer** Keys out, then ring 01295 380724. For adblue in the petrol tank in Kilmallock we connect you to an independent local drainer who covers the area, so you only explain it once. AdBlue is mostly water with urea in it; in a petrol tank it corrodes the fuel system and needs a full drain and flush. Their price and arrival time are confirmed by them before they set off. In Ireland we do not run our own vans — we work with local fuel drainers and connect you to one covering Kilmallock. Call 01295 380724 and we will pass you straight to a drainer in your area with the details of the vehicle and the fuels involved, so you are not repeating the story twice. Pricing and attendance times are set by the local operator, not by us, so ask them to confirm both before they travel. ## The short version: adblue in the petrol tank in Kilmallock Town | Kilmallock | Area | County Limerick | Job | AdBlue in the petrol tank | Price | Set by the local drainer, agreed before travel | Time on site | 1–3 hours | Who attends | An independent local drainer | Phone | 01295 380724, 24 hours | ## When a drainer arrives in Kilmallock A good drainer asks three questions before touching anything: what fuel went in, how full the tank is, and whether the engine was started. The answers decide whether it is a straight drain or a drain plus a flush of the filter and pump. Either way it happens where the vehicle is parked. ## Questions worth asking before you book a drain in Kilmallock You are going to pay for the job, so it is worth two minutes on the phone first. These are the questions that separate a straight quote from a surprise at the roadside. - Will you dispose of the contaminated fuel, and can I have a note of it? - Is the vehicle over 3.5 tonnes, and does that change the price? - Will you check the filter and pump if the engine ran? - Do you take card payment at the roadside? - What is the total, not just the call-out, if it is a straight drain? ## What to do right now - Leave the key out of the ignition and do not unlock the steering to push the car. - If you are at the pump, tell the cashier; most forecourts will let the car stay in a bay. - Call 01295 380724. Say what fuel went in, roughly how much, and where you are. - Agree the price on the phone. Nobody travels until you have. - The drainer pumps out the tank, flushes the lines and adds clean fuel. - They start the engine, check it runs cleanly and take the old fuel away. [Call 01295 380724 now](tel:+441295380724) ## Where you can be drained in Kilmallock Most drains in Kilmallock happen on the forecourt where the mistake was made. The rest are at the roadside after the car cut out, or on a drive the next morning. All three work; the vehicle does not need to be towed anywhere. If you are just outside Kilmallock, you are probably still in range: Newcastle West, Castleconnell, Askeaton and Limerick are all covered by the same drainers. ### Other drains in Kilmallock [Screen wash in diesel tank in Kilmallock](/screen-wash-in-diesel-tank/kilmallock/)[Petrol in diesel in Kilmallock](/petrol-in-diesel/kilmallock/)[Red diesel in tank in Kilmallock](/red-diesel-in-tank/kilmallock/)[Heating oil disposal in Kilmallock](/heating-oil-disposal/kilmallock/)[AdBlue in screen wash tank in Kilmallock](/adblue-in-screen-wash-tank/kilmallock/)[Water in AdBlue tank in Kilmallock](/water-in-adblue-tank/kilmallock/)[Diesel in AdBlue tank in Kilmallock](/diesel-in-adblue-tank/kilmallock/)[AdBlue in diesel in Kilmallock](/adblue-in-diesel/kilmallock/)[Fuel fixer in Kilmallock](/fuel-fixer/kilmallock/)[Wrong fuel engine damage in Kilmallock](/wrong-fuel-damage/kilmallock/)[Wrong fuel in Kilmallock](/wrong-fuel/kilmallock/)[Wrong fuel drain cost in Kilmallock](/wrong-fuel-cost/kilmallock/)[Water in diesel tank in Kilmallock](/water-in-diesel-tank/kilmallock/)[Screen wash in petrol tank in Kilmallock](/screen-wash-in-petrol-tank/kilmallock/)[Contaminated fuel collection in Kilmallock](/contaminated-fuel-collection/kilmallock/)[Water in petrol tank in Kilmallock](/water-in-petrol-tank/kilmallock/) ### Drainers nearby [Limerick](/areas/limerick/)[Newcastle West](/areas/newcastle-west/)[Abbeyfeale](/areas/abbeyfeale/)[Rathkeale](/areas/rathkeale/)[Adare](/areas/adare/)[Castleconnell](/areas/castleconnell/)[Croom](/areas/croom/)[Askeaton](/areas/askeaton/)[Patrickswell](/areas/patrickswell/)[Newcastle West](/areas/newcastle-west-limerick/) ### More of County Limerick [Limerick](/adblue-in-petrol-tank/limerick/)[Abbeyfeale](/adblue-in-petrol-tank/abbeyfeale/)[Adare](/adblue-in-petrol-tank/adare/)[Askeaton](/adblue-in-petrol-tank/askeaton/)[Castleconnell](/adblue-in-petrol-tank/castleconnell/)[Croom](/adblue-in-petrol-tank/croom/)[Newcastle West](/adblue-in-petrol-tank/newcastle-west-limerick/)[Patrickswell](/adblue-in-petrol-tank/patrickswell/)[Rathkeale](/adblue-in-petrol-tank/rathkeale/) ### From the drainer's notebook [Fuel drain in Stockport: a drainer's notes](/blog/fuel-drain-in-stockport-drainers-notes/)[Petrol in diesel in Wigan: a drainer's notes](/blog/petrol-in-diesel-in-wigan-drainers-notes/)[Adblue in diesel tank in Durham: a drainer's notes](/blog/adblue-in-diesel-tank-in-durham-drainers-notes/)[Water in diesel tank in Milton Keynes: a drainer's notes](/blog/water-in-diesel-tank-in-milton-keynes-drainers-notes/)[Diesel in petrol in Portsmouth: a drainer's notes](/blog/diesel-in-petrol-in-portsmouth-drainers-notes/) **4.8** out of 5 ★★★★★ Fuel Fixer, the company behind Wrong Fuel Drain, holds a rating of 4.8 out of 5 from [2,190 reviews on Trustpilot](https://uk.trustpilot.com/review/www.fuelfixer.co.uk), on a profile claimed since 2017. Across recent reviews, the themes customers raise most often are staff who stay polite, professional and reassuring during what is a stressful situation, and how quickly a technician arrives and gets the vehicle back on the road in Kilmallock. The most common criticism is price. Some customers have felt the cost of an emergency drain was steep for a job that takes under two hours, and that is fair comment on an emergency call-out. It is why the misfuel call-out fee is set by the local drainer in Ireland and why the full figure is quoted on the phone before a technician sets off — so nothing about the cost is a surprise at the roadside. ## Common questions **Can I drive to a garage with adblue in the petrol tank?** No. Every mile pushes the fuel further through the pump and injectors. A drainer comes to you, so there is no reason to move the car under its own power. **How long does a drain take in Kilmallock?** Usually 1 to 3 hours on site once the drainer arrives. Longer if the engine was started, because the filter and lines need flushing as well as the tank. **Will the car need a service afterwards?** Not after a straight drain. If the engine ran on the wrong fuel, the drainer will tell you whether the filter should be changed. **Do you work at night in Kilmallock?** Yes. Drainers work 24 hours a day, including weekends and bank holidays. **Do you cover all of Kilmallock?** Yes — forecourts, roadsides, homes and workplaces across Kilmallock and the surrounding area. **What does it cost in Kilmallock?** The call-out starts at £89. The full price depends on the vehicle and how far the fuel got, and it is confirmed on 01295 380724 before anyone travels. ### Who you are dealing with Wrong Fuel Drain is a brand of [Fuel Fixer Ltd](https://www.fuelfixer.co.uk/) (company number 08520551), a company of Fuel Fixer International, the multinational group behind this website.
