--- title: AdBlue in petrol tank in Sutton Coldfield: local drainer. url: https://wrongfueldrain.com/adblue-in-petrol-tank/sutton-coldfield/ focus: adblue in the petrol tank sutton coldfield phone: 01295 380724 updated: 2026-10-06 --- # Local drainer for adblue in petrol tank in Sutton Coldfield **Short answer** If the engine has not run, adblue in the petrol tank in Sutton Coldfield is usually a clean drain with no lasting harm. Keep it that way — don't start it — and ring 01295 380724. The call-out is £89, the drainer brings everything, and most jobs are done in 1 to 3 hours. AdBlue is mostly water with urea in it; in a petrol tank it corrodes the fuel system and needs a full drain and flush. A full tank of the wrong fuel takes longer to pump than a few litres, so the drainer will tell you roughly how long it will be once they see the gauge. After that it is a flush, a refuel and a test run before they leave. ## Before you agree a price: what to ask You are going to pay for the job, so it is worth two minutes on the phone first. These are the questions that separate a straight quote from a surprise at the roadside. - Do you bring clean fuel, and is it included? - Will you check the filter and pump if the engine ran? - What is the total, not just the call-out, if it is a straight drain? - Can you work on the forecourt, or does the car need to be moved? - How much more if the engine has already been started? ## What to do right now - Keep the engine off and put the keys somewhere you will not absent-mindedly use them. - Move the car only by pushing, with help, and only if it is blocking a pump. - Phone 01295 380724 and describe what happened. - Confirm the quote — call-out from £89 — and the arrival window. - The drainer empties the tank into a sealed container and flushes through. - After a refuel and a test run, the waste fuel leaves with the drainer for licensed disposal. [Call 01295 380724 now](tel:+441295380724) ## Which Sutton Coldfield postcodes we cover We cover postcode district B72 and the surrounding streets in West Midlands. Give the operator your postcode and you will get an arrival window. ## Forecourt, roadside or drive: where we drain in Sutton Coldfield Forecourt staff in Sutton Coldfield see this every week and will usually let the vehicle sit in a bay until the drainer arrives. Otherwise the drainer can work on your drive, at your workplace or at the kerb outside. The same van covers Maney and Wylde Green, which usually keeps arrival times short across this side of West Midlands. ## Fuel drain prices in Sutton Coldfield Prices rise with how far the wrong fuel got. Across recent reviews, the themes customers raise most often are staff who stay polite, professional and reassuring during what is a stressful situation, and how quickly a technician arrives and gets the vehicle back on the road in Sutton Coldfield. The most common criticism is price. Some customers have felt the cost of an emergency drain was steep for a job that takes under two hours, and that is fair comment on an emergency call-out. It is why the misfuel call-out fee now starts at just £89 and why the full figure is quoted on the phone before a technician sets off — so nothing about the cost is a surprise at the roadside. ## Common questions **I only put a little in — do I still need a drain?** In most modern diesels, yes. Even a small amount of petrol reduces the lubrication the pump depends on. A drain is cheap compared with a pump. **Do I need to stay with the car?** Ideally yes, so the drainer can confirm what happened and hand the keys back. If not, agree access on the phone. **Can I pay by card?** Yes. Card payment is taken on site once the job is done. **Do I need to move the car off the forecourt?** Only if it is blocking a pump. Push it into a bay with help and the engine off; the drainer can work there. **Do you work at night in Sutton Coldfield?** Yes. Drainers work 24 hours a day, including weekends and bank holidays. **What if I have already driven home?** Leave it on the drive with the engine off and call 01295 380724. The drainer can do the whole job at your house. ### Who you are dealing with Wrong Fuel Drain is a brand of [Fuel Fixer Ltd](https://www.fuelfixer.co.uk/) (company number 08520551), a company of Fuel Fixer International, the multinational group behind this website.
