What drainers see in Felmersham
Most wrong fuel calls in Felmersham come from the forecourt itself, within a minute of the nozzle going back. The rest come from drivers who made it a mile or two before the engine note changed. Both are routine; the first is quicker.
What to expect from the drainer in Felmersham
On a forecourt the drainer will usually move the vehicle off the pump lane first, by hand, with the engine off. Then it is drain, flush, refuel and start. At home or at work they can do the whole thing on the drive or in the car park without moving it at all.
Before you agree a price: what to ask
None of these are awkward questions. Any drainer worth calling will answer them before setting off.
- Is the vehicle over 3.5 tonnes, and does that change the price?
- Do you bring clean fuel, and is it included?
- Will you dispose of the contaminated fuel, and can I have a note of it?
- Will you check the filter and pump if the engine ran?
- What is the total, not just the call-out, if it is a straight drain?

Fuel Fixer, the company behind Wrong Fuel Drain, holds a rating of 4.8 out of 5 from 2,190 reviews on Trustpilot, on a profile claimed since 2017.
Across recent reviews, the themes customers raise most often are staff who stay polite, professional and reassuring during what is a stressful situation, and how quickly a technician arrives and gets the vehicle back on the road in Felmersham.
The most common criticism is price. Some customers have felt the cost of an emergency drain was steep for a job that takes under two hours, and that is fair comment on an emergency call-out. It is why the misfuel call-out fee now starts at just £89 and why the full figure is quoted on the phone before a technician sets off — so nothing about the cost is a surprise at the roadside.
Common questions
What if I have already driven home?
Leave it on the drive with the engine off and call 01295 380724. The drainer can do the whole job at your house.
How quickly can a drainer reach me in Felmersham?
Usually the same day and often within a couple of hours. The operator gives you an arrival window on 01295 380724 before you agree.
Can I drive to a garage with petrol in a diesel car?
No. Every mile pushes the fuel further through the pump and injectors. A drainer comes to you, so there is no reason to move the car under its own power.
Is the drain messy?
No. The fuel is pumped into a sealed tank on the van, and a drip tray catches anything from the connection. The area is left as it was.
What does it cost in Felmersham?
The call-out starts at £89. The full price depends on the vehicle and how far the fuel got, and it is confirmed on 01295 380724 before anyone travels.
Do I need to stay with the car?
Ideally yes, so the drainer can confirm what happened and hand the keys back. If not, agree access on the phone.
