Ring 01295 380724 and we pass you to a local drainer covering Caherdavin Limerick, vehicle and fuel details included. Diesel in the AdBlue tank contaminates the urea and can ruin the SCR dosing pump and injector, so it must come out before starting. The drainer confirms their own price and arrival time. In Ireland we do not run our own vans — we work with local fuel drainers and connect you to one covering Caherdavin Limerick. Call 01295 380724 and we will pass you straight to a drainer in your area with the details of the vehicle and the fuels involved, so you are not repeating the story twice. Pricing and attendance times are set by the local operator, not by us, so ask them to confirm both before they travel. ## The short version: diesel in the adblue tank in Caherdavin Limerick Town | Caherdavin Limerick | Area | Limerick | Job | Diesel in the AdBlue tank | Price | Set by the local drainer, agreed before travel | Time on site | 1–3 hours | Who attends | An independent local drainer | Phone | 01295 380724, 24 hours | ## On arrival in Caherdavin Limerick: what happens next Expect a van with a pump and a sealed waste tank. The drainer drains the tank, flushes the system through, refuels with enough clean fuel to reach a forecourt, then starts the engine and lets it settle. You do not need a garage and the vehicle does not move until it is ready. ## Before you agree a price: what to ask None of these are awkward questions. Any drainer worth calling will answer them before setting off. - Do you take card payment at the roadside? - How long until you reach me in Caherdavin Limerick? - What is the total, not just the call-out, if it is a straight drain? - Do you bring clean fuel, and is it included? - Will you check the filter and pump if the engine ran? ## What to do right now - Leave the ignition alone — on many cars even unlocking it powers the fuel pump. - Push the car clear of the pump if needed, with someone steering and the engine off. - Call 01295 380724 and give the fuel, the amount and your exact location. - Ask for the whole price, not just the call-out, and agree it. - The drainer drains the tank into a sealed container and flushes the lines. - Fresh fuel goes in, the engine is started and the waste fuel leaves with the drainer. Across recent reviews, the themes customers raise most often are staff who stay polite, professional and reassuring during what is a stressful situation, and how quickly a technician arrives and gets the vehicle back on the road in Caherdavin Limerick. The most common criticism is price. Some customers have felt the cost of an emergency drain was steep for a job that takes under two hours, and that is fair comment on an emergency call-out. It is why the misfuel call-out fee is set by the local drainer in Ireland and why the full figure is quoted on the phone before a technician sets off — so nothing about the cost is a surprise at the roadside. ## Common questions **Can I drive to a garage with diesel in the adblue tank?** No. Every mile pushes the fuel further through the pump and injectors. A drainer comes to you, so there is no reason to move the car under its own power. **Is the drain messy?** No. The fuel is pumped into a sealed tank on the van, and a drip tray catches anything from the connection. The area is left as it was. **Do I need to move the car off the forecourt?** Only if it is blocking a pump. Push it into a bay with help and the engine off; the drainer can work there. **Do I need to stay with the car?** Ideally yes, so the drainer can confirm what happened and hand the keys back. If not, agree access on the phone. **Will my engine be damaged?** Not if it has not been started. The wrong fuel sitting in the tank touches nothing that a drain cannot clear. Damage starts once it circulates. **The engine is running rough — is that the wrong fuel?** If it started shortly after filling up, very likely. Pull over when it is safe, switch off and call 01295 380724. ### Who you are dealing with Wrong Fuel Drain is a brand of [Fuel Fixer Ltd](https://www.fuelfixer.co.uk/) (company number 08520551), a company of Fuel Fixer International, the multinational group behind this website.
