Across recent reviews, the themes customers raise most often are staff who stay polite, professional and reassuring during what is a stressful situation, and how quickly a technician arrives and gets the vehicle back on the road in Fairmilehead Edinburgh. The most common criticism is price. Some customers have felt the cost of an emergency drain was steep for a job that takes under two hours, and that is fair comment on an emergency call-out. It is why the misfuel call-out fee now starts at just £89 and why the full figure is quoted on the phone before a technician sets off — so nothing about the cost is a surprise at the roadside. ## Common questions **Is old heating oil still usable?** Sometimes, if it is clean. If it has water or sludge in it, collection and disposal is the safer option. **How is fuel disposal priced in Fairmilehead Edinburgh?** Per litre or per job, depending on volume and access. You get the figure on 01295 380724 before booking. **Can you take sludge from the bottom of the tank?** Yes. Residue and sludge are removed along with the fuel, and the tank is checked. **Do I need to be there?** Only if the tank is not accessible without you. Otherwise, access instructions are enough. **Do I get a waste transfer note for fuel disposal?** Yes, at every collection. It documents your duty of care for the fuel. **Where does the fuel go?** To licensed processing and recycling. It is never poured away or burned. ### Who you are dealing with Wrong Fuel Drain is a brand of [Fuel Fixer Ltd](https://www.fuelfixer.co.uk/) (company number 08520551), a company of Fuel Fixer International, the multinational group behind this website.
