In Ireland we do not run our own vans — we work with local fuel drainers and connect you to one covering Clara. Call 01295 380724 and we will pass you straight to a drainer in your area with the details of the vehicle and the fuels involved, so you are not repeating the story twice. Pricing and attendance times are set by the local operator, not by us, so ask them to confirm both before they travel. ## The short version: heating oil disposal in Clara Town | Clara | Area | County Offaly | Service | Heating oil disposal | Price | Set by the local drainer, agreed before travel | Time on site | 1–3 hours | Who attends | An independent local drainer | Phone | 01295 380724, 24 hours | ## How a collection works - Call 01295 380724 with the fuel type and a rough volume in litres. - Agree a price per litre and a collection slot. - Make sure a small tanker can reach the tank or drums. - The carrier pumps the fuel into a sealed bowser. - Residue and sludge are removed and the tank is checked. - You get a waste transfer note before they leave. Across recent reviews, the themes customers raise most often are staff who stay polite, professional and reassuring during what is a stressful situation, and how quickly a technician arrives and gets the vehicle back on the road in Clara. The most common criticism is price. Some customers have felt the cost of an emergency drain was steep for a job that takes under two hours, and that is fair comment on an emergency call-out. It is why the misfuel call-out fee is set by the local drainer in Ireland and why the full figure is quoted on the phone before a technician sets off — so nothing about the cost is a surprise at the roadside. ## Common questions **How is heating oil disposal priced in Clara?** Per litre or per job, depending on volume and access. You get the figure on 01295 380724 before booking. **Do you collect from farms and yards around Clara?** Yes, as well as homes, depots, marinas and commercial sites. **Is old heating oil still usable?** Sometimes, if it is clean. If it has water or sludge in it, collection and disposal is the safer option. **Do I need to be there?** Only if the tank is not accessible without you. Otherwise, access instructions are enough. **Where does the fuel go?** To licensed processing and recycling. It is never poured away or burned. **Do I get a waste transfer note for heating oil disposal?** Yes, at every collection. It documents your duty of care for the fuel. ### Who you are dealing with Wrong Fuel Drain is a brand of [Fuel Fixer Ltd](https://www.fuelfixer.co.uk/) (company number 08520551), a company of Fuel Fixer International, the multinational group behind this website.
