If they will not give a price before travelling, ring someone else. - Do you take card payment at the roadside? - Is the vehicle over 3.5 tonnes, and does that change the price? - Will you dispose of the contaminated fuel, and can I have a note of it? - What is the total, not just the call-out, if it is a straight drain? - How long until you reach me in Canley Coventry? ## What to do right now - Stop. Do not start the engine, even for a moment. - Note the fuel type, the amount you put in and whether the car was already low. - Ring 01295 380724 and give the location — a postcode or the filling station name is enough. - Get the full price and an arrival time before you agree. - A drainer attends, drains and flushes the fuel system where the car is parked. - Clean fuel goes in, the engine is run, and you drive to the next forecourt to fill up. Across recent reviews, the themes customers raise most often are staff who stay polite, professional and reassuring during what is a stressful situation, and how quickly a technician arrives and gets the vehicle back on the road in Canley Coventry. The most common criticism is price. Some customers have felt the cost of an emergency drain was steep for a job that takes under two hours, and that is fair comment on an emergency call-out. It is why the misfuel call-out fee now starts at just £89 and why the full figure is quoted on the phone before a technician sets off — so nothing about the cost is a surprise at the roadside. ## Common questions **What does it cost in Canley Coventry?** The call-out starts at £89. The full price depends on the vehicle and how far the fuel got, and it is confirmed on 01295 380724 before anyone travels. **Can you drain a hire car or a company car?** Yes. Tell the hire company or fleet manager too; many prefer a drain on site to a recovery. **Can I pay by card?** Yes. Card payment is taken on site once the job is done. **What happens to the fuel you take out?** It goes into a sealed tank on the drainer's van and is taken for licensed disposal and recycling. It is never tipped away. **How quickly can a drainer reach me in Canley Coventry?** Usually the same day and often within a couple of hours. The operator gives you an arrival window on 01295 380724 before you agree. **Will you bring fuel?** Yes. The drainer adds enough of the correct fuel to start the engine and reach a filling station. ### Who you are dealing with Wrong Fuel Drain is a brand of [Fuel Fixer Ltd](https://www.fuelfixer.co.uk/) (company number 08520551), a company of Fuel Fixer International, the multinational group behind this website.
