In Ireland we do not run our own vans — we work with local fuel drainers and connect you to one covering Abbeyfeale. Call 01295 380724 and we will pass you straight to a drainer in your area with the details of the vehicle and the fuels involved, so you are not repeating the story twice. Pricing and attendance times are set by the local operator, not by us, so ask them to confirm both before they travel. ## Mobile fuel drain in Abbeyfeale: the facts Town | Abbeyfeale | Area | County Limerick | Job | Mobile fuel drain | Price | Set by the local drainer, agreed before travel | Time on site | 45–90 minutes | Who attends | An independent local drainer | Phone | 01295 380724, 24 hours | ## What the drainer does when they reach you in Abbeyfeale Expect a van with a pump and a sealed waste tank. The drainer drains the tank, flushes the system through, refuels with enough clean fuel to reach a forecourt, then starts the engine and lets it settle. You do not need a garage and the vehicle does not move until it is ready. ## What to ask on the phone before a drainer travels to Abbeyfeale None of these are awkward questions. Any drainer worth calling will answer them before setting off. - How much more if the engine has already been started? - Can you work on the forecourt, or does the car need to be moved? - What is the total, not just the call-out, if it is a straight drain? - How long until you reach me in Abbeyfeale? - Do you bring clean fuel, and is it included? ## What to do right now - Don't press the start button or turn the key. - Take a photo of the pump display: it shows the fuel type and the litres. - Ring 01295 380724 and describe where the car is. - Agree the price before booking — the call-out starts at £89. - The drainer empties the tank and flushes the system where the car stands. - They refuel, start the engine and check it before handing back the keys. [Call 01295 380724 now](tel:+441295380724) ## Where you can be drained in Abbeyfeale Forecourt staff in Abbeyfeale see this every week and will usually let the vehicle sit in a bay until the drainer arrives. Otherwise the drainer can work on your drive, at your workplace or at the kerb outside. If you are just outside Abbeyfeale, you are probably still in range: Adare, Castleconnell, Limerick and Newcastle West are all covered by the same drainers. ### Other drains in Abbeyfeale [Wrong fuel symptoms in Abbeyfeale](/wrong-fuel-symptoms/abbeyfeale/)[Gasoline in diesel in Abbeyfeale](/gasoline-in-diesel/abbeyfeale/)[Petrol in diesel in Abbeyfeale](/petrol-in-diesel/abbeyfeale/)[Screen wash in diesel tank in Abbeyfeale](/screen-wash-in-diesel-tank/abbeyfeale/)[Petrol in AdBlue tank in Abbeyfeale](/petrol-in-adblue-tank/abbeyfeale/)[Kerosene disposal in Abbeyfeale](/kerosene-disposal/abbeyfeale/)[Heating oil collection in Abbeyfeale](/heating-oil-collection/abbeyfeale/)[Wrong fuel drain cost in Abbeyfeale](/wrong-fuel-cost/abbeyfeale/)[Diesel in gasoline in Abbeyfeale](/diesel-in-gasoline/abbeyfeale/)[Wrong fuel rescue in Abbeyfeale](/wrong-fuel-rescue/abbeyfeale/)[Wrong fuel in van in Abbeyfeale](/wrong-fuel-in-a-van/abbeyfeale/)[Water in diesel tank in Abbeyfeale](/water-in-diesel-tank/abbeyfeale/)[Kerosene collection in Abbeyfeale](/kerosene-collection/abbeyfeale/)[Fuel drain in Abbeyfeale](/fuel-drain/abbeyfeale/)[AdBlue in diesel tank in Abbeyfeale](/adblue-in-diesel-tank/abbeyfeale/)[Fuel collection in Abbeyfeale](/fuel-collection/abbeyfeale/) ### Drainers nearby [Limerick](/areas/limerick/)[Newcastle West](/areas/newcastle-west/)[Kilmallock](/areas/kilmallock/)[Rathkeale](/areas/rathkeale/)[Adare](/areas/adare/)[Castleconnell](/areas/castleconnell/)[Croom](/areas/croom/)[Askeaton](/areas/askeaton/)[Patrickswell](/areas/patrickswell/)[Newcastle West](/areas/newcastle-west-limerick/) ### More of County Limerick [Limerick](/mobile-fuel-drain/limerick/)[Adare](/mobile-fuel-drain/adare/)[Askeaton](/mobile-fuel-drain/askeaton/)[Castleconnell](/mobile-fuel-drain/castleconnell/)[Croom](/mobile-fuel-drain/croom/)[Kilmallock](/mobile-fuel-drain/kilmallock/)[Newcastle West](/mobile-fuel-drain/newcastle-west-limerick/)[Patrickswell](/mobile-fuel-drain/patrickswell/)[Rathkeale](/mobile-fuel-drain/rathkeale/) ### From the drainer's notebook [Diesel in petrol in Sunderland: a drainer's notes](/blog/diesel-in-petrol-in-sunderland-drainers-notes/)[Fuel drain in Warrington: a drainer's notes](/blog/fuel-drain-in-warrington-drainers-notes/)[Petrol in diesel in Halifax: a drainer's notes](/blog/petrol-in-diesel-in-halifax-drainers-notes/)[Adblue in diesel tank in Inverness: a drainer's notes](/blog/adblue-in-diesel-tank-in-inverness-drainers-notes/)[Water in diesel tank in Oxford: a drainer's notes](/blog/water-in-diesel-tank-in-oxford-drainers-notes/) ### Answers [How to drain fuel tank?](/answers/how-to-drain-fuel-tank/)[How to drain fuel tank easily?](/answers/how-to-drain-fuel-tank-easily/)[How to drain fuel from a car?](/answers/how-to-drain-fuel-from-a-car/)[How much to drain fuel tank?](/answers/how-much-to-drain-fuel-tank/)[How much does a fuel drain cost?](/answers/how-much-does-a-fuel-drain-cost/) **4.8** out of 5 ★★★★★ Fuel Fixer, the company behind Wrong Fuel Drain, holds a rating of 4.8 out of 5 from [2,190 reviews on Trustpilot](https://uk.trustpilot.com/review/www.fuelfixer.co.uk), on a profile claimed since 2017. Across recent reviews, the themes customers raise most often are staff who stay polite, professional and reassuring during what is a stressful situation, and how quickly a technician arrives and gets the vehicle back on the road in Abbeyfeale. The most common criticism is price. Some customers have felt the cost of an emergency drain was steep for a job that takes under two hours, and that is fair comment on an emergency call-out. It is why the misfuel call-out fee is set by the local drainer in Ireland and why the full figure is quoted on the phone before a technician sets off — so nothing about the cost is a surprise at the roadside. ## Common questions **Can I drive to a garage with mobile fuel drain?** No. Every mile pushes the fuel further through the pump and injectors. A drainer comes to you, so there is no reason to move the car under its own power. **Can you drain a hire car or a company car?** Yes. Tell the hire company or fleet manager too; many prefer a drain on site to a recovery. **Will the car need a service afterwards?** Not after a straight drain. If the engine ran on the wrong fuel, the drainer will tell you whether the filter should be changed. **I only put a little in — do I still need a drain?** In most modern diesels, yes. Even a small amount of petrol reduces the lubrication the pump depends on. A drain is cheap compared with a pump. **Do you work at night in Abbeyfeale?** Yes. Drainers work 24 hours a day, including weekends and bank holidays. **Will my engine be damaged?** Not if it has not been started. The wrong fuel sitting in the tank touches nothing that a drain cannot clear. Damage starts once it circulates. ### Who you are dealing with Wrong Fuel Drain is a brand of [Fuel Fixer Ltd](https://www.fuelfixer.co.uk/) (company number 08520551), a company of Fuel Fixer International, the multinational group behind this website.
