With screen wash in the adblue tank in Gabalfa Cardiff, the fix is a local drainer who comes to the vehicle, pumps the tank out, flushes the lines and puts clean fuel in. Call 01295 380724: the call-out starts at £89, the job usually takes 1 to 3 hours, and you hear the full price before anyone sets off. The mechanism is simple. Screen wash thins the AdBlue out of its precise concentration, and the SCR system will throw a fault; the tank needs draining and flushing. Across recent reviews, the themes customers raise most often are staff who stay polite, professional and reassuring during what is a stressful situation, and how quickly a technician arrives and gets the vehicle back on the road in Gabalfa Cardiff. The most common criticism is price. Some customers have felt the cost of an emergency drain was steep for a job that takes under two hours, and that is fair comment on an emergency call-out. It is why the misfuel call-out fee now starts at just £89 and why the full figure is quoted on the phone before a technician sets off — so nothing about the cost is a surprise at the roadside. ## Common questions **Do I need to move the car off the forecourt?** Only if it is blocking a pump. Push it into a bay with help and the engine off; the drainer can work there. **Will my engine be damaged?** Not if it has not been started. The wrong fuel sitting in the tank touches nothing that a drain cannot clear. Damage starts once it circulates. **The engine is running rough — is that the wrong fuel?** If it started shortly after filling up, very likely. Pull over when it is safe, switch off and call 01295 380724. **Can I drive to a garage with screen wash in the adblue tank?** No. Every mile pushes the fuel further through the pump and injectors. A drainer comes to you, so there is no reason to move the car under its own power. **Do you cover all of Gabalfa Cardiff?** Yes — forecourts, roadsides, homes and workplaces across Gabalfa Cardiff and the surrounding area. **How long does a drain take in Gabalfa Cardiff?** Usually 1 to 3 hours on site once the drainer arrives. Longer if the engine was started, because the filter and lines need flushing as well as the tank. ### Who you are dealing with Wrong Fuel Drain is a brand of [Fuel Fixer Ltd](https://www.fuelfixer.co.uk/) (company number 08520551), a company of Fuel Fixer International, the multinational group behind this website.
