In Ireland we do not run our own drainers — we put you through to a local one covering Kiltimagh, with your vehicle and fuel details already passed on. Screen wash thins the AdBlue out of its precise concentration, and the SCR system will throw a fault; the tank needs draining and flushing. The local drainer sets and confirms the price before travelling. In Ireland we do not run our own vans — we work with local fuel drainers and connect you to one covering Kiltimagh. Call 01295 380724 and we will pass you straight to a drainer in your area with the details of the vehicle and the fuels involved, so you are not repeating the story twice. Pricing and attendance times are set by the local operator, not by us, so ask them to confirm both before they travel. ## Screen wash in the AdBlue tank in Kiltimagh: the facts Town | Kiltimagh | Area | County Mayo | Job | Screen wash in the AdBlue tank | Price | Set by the local drainer, agreed before travel | Time on site | 1–3 hours | Who attends | An independent local drainer | Phone | 01295 380724, 24 hours | ## On arrival in Kiltimagh: what happens next The job is quieter than people expect. The waste fuel is logged and taken for licensed disposal, and you get a receipt showing what was done. ## What to ask on the phone before a drainer travels to Kiltimagh You are going to pay for the job, so it is worth two minutes on the phone first. These are the questions that separate a straight quote from a surprise at the roadside. - Is the vehicle over 3.5 tonnes, and does that change the price? - Is there an extra charge at night or at the weekend? - Can you work on the forecourt, or does the car need to be moved? - Do you take card payment at the roadside? - How long until you reach me in Kiltimagh? ## What to do right now - Leave the key out of the ignition and do not unlock the steering to push the car. - If you are at the pump, tell the cashier; most forecourts will let the car stay in a bay. - Call 01295 380724. Say what fuel went in, roughly how much, and where you are. - Agree the price on the phone. Nobody travels until you have. - The drainer pumps out the tank, flushes the lines and adds clean fuel. - They start the engine, check it runs cleanly and take the old fuel away. That covers filling stations, services, supermarket car parks, business parks and private drives across Kiltimagh, County Mayo, Ireland. Busy pump lanes are the one place the drainer may ask to move the vehicle a few metres first, by hand. The same van covers Foxford, Belmullet, Claremorris and Ballinrobe, which usually keeps arrival times short across this side of County Mayo. ### Other drains in Kiltimagh [Water in diesel tank in Kiltimagh](/water-in-diesel-tank/kiltimagh/)[Water in screen wash tank in Kiltimagh](/water-in-screen-wash-tank/kiltimagh/)[Wrong fuel rescue in Kiltimagh](/wrong-fuel-rescue/kiltimagh/)[Screen wash in petrol tank in Kiltimagh](/screen-wash-in-petrol-tank/kiltimagh/)[Petrol in diesel in Kiltimagh](/petrol-in-diesel/kiltimagh/)[Heating oil collection in Kiltimagh](/heating-oil-collection/kiltimagh/)[Mobile fuel drain in Kiltimagh](/mobile-fuel-drain/kiltimagh/)[Wrong fuel engine damage in Kiltimagh](/wrong-fuel-damage/kiltimagh/)[Contaminated fuel collection in Kiltimagh](/contaminated-fuel-collection/kiltimagh/)[Fuel drain in Kiltimagh](/fuel-drain/kiltimagh/)[Wrong fuel in van in Kiltimagh](/wrong-fuel-in-a-van/kiltimagh/)[Wrong fuel symptoms in Kiltimagh](/wrong-fuel-symptoms/kiltimagh/)[Diesel in gasoline in Kiltimagh](/diesel-in-gasoline/kiltimagh/)[Heating oil disposal in Kiltimagh](/heating-oil-disposal/kiltimagh/)[Contaminated fuel in in Kiltimagh](/contaminated-fuel/kiltimagh/)[Kerosene collection in Kiltimagh](/kerosene-collection/kiltimagh/) ### Drainers nearby [Castlebar](/areas/castlebar/)[Ballina](/areas/ballina/)[Westport](/areas/westport/)[Claremorris](/areas/claremorris/)[Ballinrobe](/areas/ballinrobe/)[Swinford](/areas/swinford/)[Belmullet](/areas/belmullet/)[Foxford](/areas/foxford/)[Charlestown](/areas/charlestown/)[Charlestown](/areas/charlestown-mayo/)[Swinford](/areas/swinford-mayo/) ### More of County Mayo [Ballina](/screen-wash-in-adblue-tank/ballina/)[Ballinrobe](/screen-wash-in-adblue-tank/ballinrobe/)[Belmullet](/screen-wash-in-adblue-tank/belmullet/)[Castlebar](/screen-wash-in-adblue-tank/castlebar/)[Charlestown](/screen-wash-in-adblue-tank/charlestown-mayo/)[Claremorris](/screen-wash-in-adblue-tank/claremorris/)[Foxford](/screen-wash-in-adblue-tank/foxford/)[Swinford](/screen-wash-in-adblue-tank/swinford-mayo/)[Westport](/screen-wash-in-adblue-tank/westport/) ### From the drainer's notebook [Diesel in petrol in Paisley: a drainer's notes](/blog/diesel-in-petrol-in-paisley-drainers-notes/)[Fuel drain in Wolverhampton: a drainer's notes](/blog/fuel-drain-in-wolverhampton-drainers-notes/)[Petrol in diesel in Chelmsford: a drainer's notes](/blog/petrol-in-diesel-in-chelmsford-drainers-notes/)[Adblue in diesel tank in Telford: a drainer's notes](/blog/adblue-in-diesel-tank-in-telford-drainers-notes/)[Water in diesel tank in Maidstone: a drainer's notes](/blog/water-in-diesel-tank-in-maidstone-drainers-notes/) **4.8** out of 5 ★★★★★ Fuel Fixer, the company behind Wrong Fuel Drain, holds a rating of 4.8 out of 5 from [2,190 reviews on Trustpilot](https://uk.trustpilot.com/review/www.fuelfixer.co.uk), on a profile claimed since 2017. Across recent reviews, the themes customers raise most often are staff who stay polite, professional and reassuring during what is a stressful situation, and how quickly a technician arrives and gets the vehicle back on the road in Kiltimagh. The most common criticism is price. Some customers have felt the cost of an emergency drain was steep for a job that takes under two hours, and that is fair comment on an emergency call-out. It is why the misfuel call-out fee is set by the local drainer in Ireland and why the full figure is quoted on the phone before a technician sets off — so nothing about the cost is a surprise at the roadside. ## Common questions **Does insurance cover screen wash in the adblue tank?** Many policies exclude misfuelling. Some breakdown cover and optional add-ons include it. Check your policy wording before assuming either way. **Do I need to move the car off the forecourt?** Only if it is blocking a pump. Push it into a bay with help and the engine off; the drainer can work there. **Will you bring fuel?** Yes. The drainer adds enough of the correct fuel to start the engine and reach a filling station. **Will my engine be damaged?** Not if it has not been started. The wrong fuel sitting in the tank touches nothing that a drain cannot clear. Damage starts once it circulates. **How quickly can a drainer reach me in Kiltimagh?** Usually the same day and often within a couple of hours. The operator gives you an arrival window on 01295 380724 before you agree. **How long does a drain take in Kiltimagh?** Usually 1 to 3 hours on site once the drainer arrives. Longer if the engine was started, because the filter and lines need flushing as well as the tank. ### Who you are dealing with Wrong Fuel Drain is a brand of [Fuel Fixer Ltd](https://www.fuelfixer.co.uk/) (company number 08520551), a company of Fuel Fixer International, the multinational group behind this website.
