Wrong fuel rescue in Ballyvolane Cork, Ireland
Don't start it. Wrong fuel rescue in Ballyvolane Cork is handled by a local drainer we work with in Ireland — call 01295 380724 and we hand you over with the details. One phone call gets a drainer to the vehicle; they drain it, flush it, refuel it and leave, without a tow truck or a garage. Pricing is the local operator's, agreed with you first.
How Ireland works
Wrong Fuel Drain operates its own mobile technicians across the UK. In Ireland we do not run our own vans — we work with local fuel drainers and connect you to one covering Ballyvolane Cork. Call 01295 380724 and we will pass you straight to a drainer in your area with the details of the vehicle and the fuels involved, so you are not repeating the story twice. Pricing and attendance times are set by the local operator, not by us, so ask them to confirm both before they travel.

What the drainer does when they reach you in Ballyvolane Cork
On a forecourt the drainer will usually move the vehicle off the pump lane first, by hand, with the engine off. Then it is drain, flush, refuel and start. At home or at work they can do the whole thing on the drive or in the car park without moving it at all.
Five things to ask a drainer before they set off
None of these are awkward questions. Any drainer worth calling will answer them before setting off.
- What is the total, not just the call-out, if it is a straight drain?
- Do you bring clean fuel, and is it included?
- How much more if the engine has already been started?
- Will you check the filter and pump if the engine ran?
- Do you take card payment at the roadside?
What to do right now
- Leave the ignition alone — on many cars even unlocking it powers the fuel pump.
- Push the car clear of the pump if needed, with someone steering and the engine off.
- Call 01295 380724 and give the fuel, the amount and your exact location.
- Ask for the whole price, not just the call-out, and agree it.
- The drainer drains the tank into a sealed container and flushes the lines.
- Fresh fuel goes in, the engine is started and the waste fuel leaves with the drainer.

Answers
Fuel Fixer, the company behind Wrong Fuel Drain, holds a rating of 4.8 out of 5 from 2,190 reviews on Trustpilot, on a profile claimed since 2017.
Across recent reviews, the themes customers raise most often are staff who stay polite, professional and reassuring during what is a stressful situation, and how quickly a technician arrives and gets the vehicle back on the road in Ballyvolane Cork.
The most common criticism is price. Some customers have felt the cost of an emergency drain was steep for a job that takes under two hours, and that is fair comment on an emergency call-out. It is why the misfuel call-out fee is set by the local drainer in Ireland and why the full figure is quoted on the phone before a technician sets off — so nothing about the cost is a surprise at the roadside.
Common questions
What if I have already driven home?
Leave it on the drive with the engine off and call 01295 380724. The drainer can do the whole job at your house.
Does insurance cover wrong fuel rescue?
Many policies exclude misfuelling. Some breakdown cover and optional add-ons include it. Check your policy wording before assuming either way.
Will my engine be damaged?
Not if it has not been started. The wrong fuel sitting in the tank touches nothing that a drain cannot clear. Damage starts once it circulates.
What does it cost in Ballyvolane Cork?
The call-out starts at £89. The full price depends on the vehicle and how far the fuel got, and it is confirmed on 01295 380724 before anyone travels.
Can you drain a hire car or a company car?
Yes. Tell the hire company or fleet manager too; many prefer a drain on site to a recovery.
Can I pay by card?
Yes. Card payment is taken on site once the job is done.
