In Ireland we do not run our own drainers — we put you through to a local one covering Courtown, with your vehicle and fuel details already passed on. One phone call gets a drainer to the vehicle; they drain it, flush it, refuel it and leave, without a tow truck or a garage. The local drainer sets and confirms the price before travelling. [Call 01295 380724 — 24/7, nationwide](tel:+441295380724) ### How Ireland works Wrong Fuel Drain operates its own mobile technicians across the UK. In Ireland we do not run our own vans — we work with local fuel drainers and connect you to one covering Courtown. Call 01295 380724 and we will pass you straight to a drainer in your area with the details of the vehicle and the fuels involved, so you are not repeating the story twice. Pricing and attendance times are set by the local operator, not by us, so ask them to confirm both before they travel. ## Wrong fuel rescue in Courtown at a glance Town | Courtown | Area | County Wexford | Job | Wrong fuel rescue | Price | Set by the local drainer, agreed before travel | Time on site | 45–90 minutes | Who attends | An independent local drainer | Phone | 01295 380724, 24 hours | ## What the drainer does when they reach you in Courtown A good drainer asks three questions before touching anything: what fuel went in, how full the tank is, and whether the engine was started. The answers decide whether it is a straight drain or a drain plus a flush of the filter and pump. Either way it happens where the vehicle is parked. ## What to ask on the phone before a drainer travels to Courtown None of these are awkward questions. Any drainer worth calling will answer them before setting off. - Do you bring clean fuel, and is it included? - How long until you reach me in Courtown? - Is there an extra charge at night or at the weekend? - What is the total, not just the call-out, if it is a straight drain? - Will you check the filter and pump if the engine ran? ## What to do right now - Leave the ignition alone — on many cars even unlocking it powers the fuel pump. - Push the car clear of the pump if needed, with someone steering and the engine off. - Call 01295 380724 and give the fuel, the amount and your exact location. - Ask for the whole price, not just the call-out, and agree it. - The drainer drains the tank into a sealed container and flushes the lines. - Fresh fuel goes in, the engine is started and the waste fuel leaves with the drainer. Otherwise the drainer can work on your drive, at your workplace or at the kerb outside. If you are just outside Courtown, you are probably still in range: Enniscorthy, Gorey, Ferns and Bunclody are all covered by the same drainers. ### Other drains in Courtown [Diesel in petrol in Courtown](/diesel-in-petrol/courtown/)[Diesel in gasoline in Courtown](/diesel-in-gasoline/courtown/)[Mobile fuel drain in Courtown](/mobile-fuel-drain/courtown/)[Water in petrol tank in Courtown](/water-in-petrol-tank/courtown/)[Contaminated fuel in in Courtown](/contaminated-fuel/courtown/)[AdBlue in diesel in Courtown](/adblue-in-diesel/courtown/)[AdBlue in petrol tank in Courtown](/adblue-in-petrol-tank/courtown/)[Heating oil collection in Courtown](/heating-oil-collection/courtown/)[Unleaded in diesel in Courtown](/unleaded-in-diesel/courtown/)[Wrong fuel in Courtown](/wrong-fuel/courtown/)[Red diesel in tank in Courtown](/red-diesel-in-tank/courtown/)[Fuel collection in Courtown](/fuel-collection/courtown/)[Kerosene collection in Courtown](/kerosene-collection/courtown/)[Petrol in AdBlue tank in Courtown](/petrol-in-adblue-tank/courtown/)[Contaminated fuel collection in Courtown](/contaminated-fuel-collection/courtown/)[Misfuel in Courtown](/misfuel/courtown/) ### Drainers nearby [Wexford](/areas/wexford/)[Enniscorthy](/areas/enniscorthy/)[Gorey](/areas/gorey/)[New Ross](/areas/new-ross/)[Bunclody](/areas/bunclody/)[Rosslare](/areas/rosslare/)[Ferns](/areas/ferns/)[Taghmon](/areas/taghmon/) ### More of County Wexford [Wexford](/wrong-fuel-rescue/wexford/)[Bunclody](/wrong-fuel-rescue/bunclody/)[Enniscorthy](/wrong-fuel-rescue/enniscorthy/)[Ferns](/wrong-fuel-rescue/ferns/)[Gorey](/wrong-fuel-rescue/gorey/)[New Ross](/wrong-fuel-rescue/new-ross/)[Rosslare](/wrong-fuel-rescue/rosslare/)[Taghmon](/wrong-fuel-rescue/taghmon/) ### From the drainer's notebook [Nottinghamshire fuel drainers: the area guide](/blog/nottinghamshire-fuel-drainers-area-guide/)[Essex fuel drainers: the area guide](/blog/essex-fuel-drainers-area-guide/)[County Durham fuel drainers: the area guide](/blog/county-durham-fuel-drainers-area-guide/)[Kent fuel drainers: the area guide](/blog/kent-fuel-drainers-area-guide/)[Cornwall fuel drainers: the area guide](/blog/cornwall-fuel-drainers-area-guide/) ### Answers [What happens if you put the wrong fuel in your car?](/answers/what-happens-if-you-put-the-wrong-fuel-in-your-car/)[What happens if you put wrong fuel in car?](/answers/what-happens-if-you-put-wrong-fuel-in-car/)[I put wrong fuel in my car?](/answers/i-put-wrong-fuel-in-my-car/)[What to do if you put the wrong fuel in your car?](/answers/what-to-do-if-you-put-the-wrong-fuel-in-your-car/)[I put the wrong fuel in my car?](/answers/i-put-the-wrong-fuel-in-my-car/) **4.8** out of 5 ★★★★★ Fuel Fixer, the company behind Wrong Fuel Drain, holds a rating of 4.8 out of 5 from [2,190 reviews on Trustpilot](https://uk.trustpilot.com/review/www.fuelfixer.co.uk), on a profile claimed since 2017. Across recent reviews, the themes customers raise most often are staff who stay polite, professional and reassuring during what is a stressful situation, and how quickly a technician arrives and gets the vehicle back on the road in Courtown. The most common criticism is price. Some customers have felt the cost of an emergency drain was steep for a job that takes under two hours, and that is fair comment on an emergency call-out. It is why the misfuel call-out fee is set by the local drainer in Ireland and why the full figure is quoted on the phone before a technician sets off — so nothing about the cost is a surprise at the roadside. ## Common questions **Will the car need a service afterwards?** Not after a straight drain. If the engine ran on the wrong fuel, the drainer will tell you whether the filter should be changed. **Do you work at night in Courtown?** Yes. Drainers work 24 hours a day, including weekends and bank holidays. **What if I have already driven home?** Leave it on the drive with the engine off and call 01295 380724. The drainer can do the whole job at your house. **What does it cost in Courtown?** The call-out starts at £89. The full price depends on the vehicle and how far the fuel got, and it is confirmed on 01295 380724 before anyone travels. **Will my engine be damaged?** Not if it has not been started. The wrong fuel sitting in the tank touches nothing that a drain cannot clear. Damage starts once it circulates. **Does insurance cover wrong fuel rescue?** Many policies exclude misfuelling. Some breakdown cover and optional add-ons include it. Check your policy wording before assuming either way. ### Who you are dealing with Wrong Fuel Drain is a brand of [Fuel Fixer Ltd](https://www.fuelfixer.co.uk/) (company number 08520551), a company of Fuel Fixer International, the multinational group behind this website.
