Wrong fuel rescue in Impington Cambridge is a drain-and-flush job done at the roadside, on the forecourt or on your drive — no tow, no garage. Call-out from £89, roughly 45 to 90 minutes on site, price agreed first. The mechanism is simple. Any drainer worth calling will answer them before setting off. - What is the total, not just the call-out, if it is a straight drain? - Is there an extra charge at night or at the weekend? - Will you check the filter and pump if the engine ran? - How long until you reach me in Impington Cambridge? - How much more if the engine has already been started? ## What to do right now - Don't press the start button or turn the key. - Take a photo of the pump display: it shows the fuel type and the litres. - Ring 01295 380724 and describe where the car is. - Agree the price before booking — the call-out starts at £89. - The drainer empties the tank and flushes the system where the car stands. - They refuel, start the engine and check it before handing back the keys. Across recent reviews, the themes customers raise most often are staff who stay polite, professional and reassuring during what is a stressful situation, and how quickly a technician arrives and gets the vehicle back on the road in Impington Cambridge. The most common criticism is price. Some customers have felt the cost of an emergency drain was steep for a job that takes under two hours, and that is fair comment on an emergency call-out. It is why the misfuel call-out fee now starts at just £89 and why the full figure is quoted on the phone before a technician sets off — so nothing about the cost is a surprise at the roadside. ## Common questions **How quickly can a drainer reach me in Impington Cambridge?** Usually the same day and often within a couple of hours. The operator gives you an arrival window on 01295 380724 before you agree. **Can you drain a van or a lorry?** Vans, yes, routinely. Vehicles over 3.5 tonnes are quoted separately because of the volume involved. **Do you cover all of Impington Cambridge?** Yes — forecourts, roadsides, homes and workplaces across Impington Cambridge and the surrounding area. **What happens to the fuel you take out?** It goes into a sealed tank on the drainer's van and is taken for licensed disposal and recycling. It is never tipped away. **Can I drive to a garage with wrong fuel rescue?** No. Every mile pushes the fuel further through the pump and injectors. A drainer comes to you, so there is no reason to move the car under its own power. **How long does a drain take in Impington Cambridge?** Usually 45 to 90 minutes on site once the drainer arrives. Longer if the engine was started, because the filter and lines need flushing as well as the tank. ### Who you are dealing with Wrong Fuel Drain is a brand of [Fuel Fixer Ltd](https://www.fuelfixer.co.uk/) (company number 08520551), a company of Fuel Fixer International, the multinational group behind this website.
