--- title: Wrong fuel in Rotherham: local drainer from £89 url: https://wrongfueldrain.com/wrong-fuel/rotherham/ focus: wrong fuel rotherham phone: 01295 380724 updated: 2026-10-06 --- # Local drainer for wrong fuel in Rotherham **Short answer** Leave the engine off. With wrong fuel in Rotherham, the fix is a local drainer who comes to the vehicle, pumps the tank out, flushes the lines and puts clean fuel in. Call 01295 380724: the call-out starts at £89, the job usually takes 45 to 90 minutes, and you hear the full price before anyone sets off. Whatever went in, the order is the same: engine off, drain, flush, refuel. The earlier it is caught, the smaller the job. Left sitting in the tank, it is a small job. The drainer drains the tank, flushes the system through, refuels with enough clean fuel to reach a forecourt, then starts the engine and lets it settle. You do not need a garage and the vehicle does not move until it is ready. ## Questions worth asking before you book a drain in Rotherham A drainer should be happy to answer all of these on the phone. If they will not give a price before travelling, ring someone else. - Is there an extra charge at night or at the weekend? - How long until you reach me in Rotherham? - Will you check the filter and pump if the engine ran? - Is the vehicle over 3.5 tonnes, and does that change the price? - Can you work on the forecourt, or does the car need to be moved? ## What to do right now - Stop. Do not start the engine, even for a moment. - Note the fuel type, the amount you put in and whether the car was already low. - Ring 01295 380724 and give the location — a postcode or the filling station name is enough. - Get the full price and an arrival time before you agree. - A drainer attends, drains and flushes the fuel system where the car is parked. - Clean fuel goes in, the engine is run, and you drive to the next forecourt to fill up. [Call 01295 380724 now](tel:+441295380724) ## Which Rotherham postcodes we cover Drainers cover postcode district S60, and the roads either side of them, across South Yorkshire. ## Where you can be drained in Rotherham The drainer comes to the vehicle wherever it is in Rotherham, South Yorkshire: pump lane, car park, driveway or kerb. Tell the operator exactly where you are on 01295 380724 — a postcode, a landmark or the name of the filling station — and they will give you an arrival window. Calls from Brinsworth, Masbrough, Catcliffe and Moorgate go to the same drainers as Rotherham. ## Fuel drain prices in Rotherham Guide prices only. The drainer confirms the full figure on the phone before travelling, so nothing changes at the roadside. Across recent reviews, the themes customers raise most often are staff who stay polite, professional and reassuring during what is a stressful situation, and how quickly a technician arrives and gets the vehicle back on the road in Rotherham. The most common criticism is price. Some customers have felt the cost of an emergency drain was steep for a job that takes under two hours, and that is fair comment on an emergency call-out. It is why the misfuel call-out fee now starts at just £89 and why the full figure is quoted on the phone before a technician sets off — so nothing about the cost is a surprise at the roadside. ## Common questions **Can I drive to a garage with wrong fuel?** No. Every mile pushes the fuel further through the pump and injectors. A drainer comes to you, so there is no reason to move the car under its own power. **Can you drain a hire car or a company car?** Yes. Tell the hire company or fleet manager too; many prefer a drain on site to a recovery. **Do you work at night in Rotherham?** Yes. Drainers work 24 hours a day, including weekends and bank holidays. **Is the drain messy?** No. The fuel is pumped into a sealed tank on the van, and a drip tray catches anything from the connection. The area is left as it was. **Can I pay by card?** Yes. Card payment is taken on site once the job is done. **Can you drain a van or a lorry?** Vans, yes, routinely. Vehicles over 3.5 tonnes are quoted separately because of the volume involved. ### Who you are dealing with Wrong Fuel Drain is a brand of [Fuel Fixer Ltd](https://www.fuelfixer.co.uk/) (company number 08520551), a company of Fuel Fixer International, the multinational group behind this website.
